Today was a busy day and we had tons of fun! The weather was really nice, which was great since it has been raining all week. Parker and I went to my parents' house and we spent most of the day outside with them. After chasing him down in the front yard a billion times, we decided to move things to the backyard where I could fence Parker in, sit in a chair, and read a book. Great idea, right? Ha ha... Parker's cheeks started turning pink so I went to get him some sunblock. When I came back, this is what Grandma and I found:
He was sitting in MY chair and reading MY book! And he was oh so serious too! Grandma brought out some snacks for him to eat and then he was all set to eat and read my book!
If the book wasn't upside down, I might have thought he was really reading it by the expression on his face!
Brandon has been quite the snowboarder lately and we managed to catch a few minutes of his time after snowboarding and before a party... oh to be a teenager again! Ha ha.
I think my mom's favorite part of the night was trying to get pictures of us while we were eating. Let's see how she did:
Ethan and Parker... check!
Me... check!
Brandon... check!
Preston... check!
Jamie... alas, the only one to escape. She's no fool!
It was getting late and everyone was packing up. Here is Ethan saying goodbye to Parker.

That's the cutest blog I have ever seen, Parker is so smart, even if he reads upside down. Is your Dad really not going on the cruise?
We spent last evening with Shane, Truly, Toni and Shelly and the twins. I was extra special. They are growing so fast and they smile and talk to you.
SO sweet! How fun for Parker to have a little buddy.
That was a fun day. Its always fun to be around family. Dad and I love it when everyone comes over.

How cute!! I love the pictures of Parker reading your book. The picture of him and Ethan hugging was adorable. It's great that they get to grow up together.
