Happy Birthday Parker!

Happy Birthday to Parker!  Parker will be one tomorrow!  If anyone wants to watch Parker stuff his face with cake, we will be at Livermore Park in Folsom at 3 p.m.  Location may be moved to nearby if it is too crowded there, so call me when you're on your way.  For those of you who can't make it, I'll post pictures and video of Parker's birthday as soon as I get a chance!

Memorial Day Weekend

The weekend started out with Greg leaving Friday morning to hike Mt. Shasta with Ricky, Matt, Scott, Morgan, and Taylor.  They made it so close to the top, but the extreme weather conditions forced them to have to hike back down early.  They still had a lot of fun though.

While Greg went hiking, Parker and I joined my parents, siblings, and grandparents in the bay area for a Pleasant Hill Ward Reunion...50 years...wow.  This was the ward we were attending when I was born!  It was fun to see everyone, but honestly, I didn't recognize a lot of the people.  There was a picnic on Saturday, but I forgot to bring my camera.  David has a few pictures.  These next pictures are at the church on Sunday.  The ones inside turned out blurry because the camera was on the wrong setting...sorry!  I posted them anyway for Grandma and Grandpa to see.
Parker hates the feel of grass!

On Memorial Day, we went with Greg's family to the Sacramento County Fair.  We had a good time.  Greg's mom rode the mechanical bull!  Sorry...no pictures.  I do have some video of it, but I think Sandi will appreciate me not posting it on here.  :)

Parker's New Face

As you can tell from the Harry Potter entry below, Parker has a new facial expression.  Here's how it got started.  Uncle David bought a new camera and every time he tried to take a picture of Parker, it would flash red before the real flash went off.  Well, every time the red would shine on Parker, he would make the face below.  We were laughing so hard!  Now he does it quite frequently...I definitely have a little boy on my hands.  I wonder what he will surprise me with next.

Here are some more pictures of David and Parker's photo shoot.

Wow...does Parker look bored or what!

Lunch at the Park

I took Parker to the Park (haha..yeah, I know that sounds funny) to meet up with Dayna and Amy and their kids.  We had a lot of fun.  Unfortunately, I only took two pictures.  I know Dayna took some as well so hopefully, I can get ahold of those, but here is Amy holding Parker  and then below that is Dayna's little Kylie.

Harry Potter

It's fun to have uncles...or maybe not.  One minute he was Parker and the next, Uncle Brandon had turned him into Harry Potter and Uncle David was taking pictures!

Updates

So, I couldn't find my camera for a little while, but now I've found it so I can finally start taking more pictures.  Yay!  In the meantime, here are a couple pictures to keep you updated.

Brandon had Junior Prom this year and Parker was lucky enough to take a picture with his handsome uncle before he left on his date.
Parker got a rocking horse for Christmas (thank you Grandma and Grandpa Nelson) and he used to be afraid of it, but now he loves it!  Here's a picture of him riding it earlier today.

Muir Woods

We went to Muir Woods last Saturday with Clayton and Jenna Handy.  It was a lot of fun spending the day there!  I had actually never been even though I've lived so close all my life.  Better late than never!  We also went to Stinson Beach, but for some reason, a button got switched on my camera and all the pictures came out white!  I was SO upset.  Now we have no pictures of Parker at the beach.  Oh well.  I guess that gives us reason to go back there again before the summer is over.  Hopefully, Parker will be walking by the time we go again.

Parker didn't like being left alone in the tree!
