I'll be 24 tomorrow!  We celebrated with my family today.  Here are the pictures!

Funny Story...Parker likes to "help" me every time I do the dishes.  He feels the need to stand by the dishwasher, pull out pieces of silverware, "inspect them", and put them back in (usually in the wrong place).  So, the other day, Greg had just come home from work and we were busy talking while I was doing the dishes.  Then, I heard Parker starting to whine and I thought, "Oh great.  What's he trying to pull out of the dishwasher now?"  I looked down only to find that he had managed to climb onto the dishwasher and was whining because the top rack was keeping him from being able to sit up all the way!  We thought it was hilarious! Parker was really concerned at first about being stuck as you can kinda see below, but once he saw us laughing and taking pictures, he thought it was pretty funny too.

The Trip

Well, we made it to California! We've been living out of suitcases for the last week and I can't seem to find anything I've packed, but we finally get to move into our apartment tomorrow! Yay! I figured it would take us a few days to get settled in so I'm using my parents' computer to post this blog before we move in. Hopefully, I'll be taking more pictures again soon. Parker was a great little traveler! We split the drive into two days and spent the night in Elko. Here are some pictures from places we stopped!

We crossed this bridge in Twin Falls and decided to take a stop because it goes over a cute gorge and we wanted to take pictures of it.  Also, we stopped just in time to see a couple of base jumpers take a flying leap off the other side of the bridge!

I'm pretty sure this is the Snake River and believe it or not, there is a golf course down there!

If you look closely, Parker's not actually over the ledge.

Can anyone tell me what this little animal is?  All I know is that it is NOT a squirrel!

Without the crib holding him in, Parker didn't quite stay on his mattress the whole night.  I ended up having to stuff a blanket under his head. Poor guy!  He slept pretty well though.

Nelson Family Exodus

It has begun!  We're moving to California for the summer!  Yay!  We are excited to be so close to our families.  Parker is looking forward to having other family members to play with.  We are currently packing everything up and cleaning.  Parker is doing everything he can to help, as you can see below.  We look forward to seeing everyone in California in a few days!

Family Reunions!

This last weekend, we took a quick trip to Utah to be with my family!  We got to see grandparents on both sides of my family along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins!  We had a lot of fun!  To all our friends, sorry if we didn't get to see you...it was a short weekend!
