I Love to see the Temple

With Parker, it was more like... I love to see the fountain!  You can tell by the picture that he really wanted to touch the water.  I'm sure if I had let him hang out there any longer he would have found a way to climb right in!

Parker's First Tennis Match

Greg's Dad invited us to a tennis match in Roseville last Friday and we had a blast!  Parker kept pointing to the court and saying, "Ball!" over and over again.  I'm surprised he could see the ball at all with how fast they were serving it.

Here is Parker with the best tennis player on the court!  His name is Sam Warburg and since Greg's Dad knows him, we got to take pictures with him.  Sorry it's blurry, but Parker kept moving around so I never got a clear shot!

Memory Tag

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.  If you don't have a blog, I'll post my memory of you in my own comments section!

Thanks!

Over the River and Through the Woods...

To grandmother's house we go!... okay, so it was more like "over to the airport and through the plane" but who cares how we got there!  The point is that we made it to Huntington Beach to visit Greg's grandparents!  We got there Friday night and Parker was immediately friendly with his great grandparents!  I thought for sure that he would be shy at first, but I was wrong.  Of course, they did a great job of making us feel right at home and Parker had fun playing with their toys.  The next morning, we took a trip over to the beach where Parker made his first sand castle!

One more funny face for the camera!
All in all, we had a great trip!  Thanks Great Grandma and Grandpa Fafara!

Here is some video of Parker at the beach.  Brandon~ I've added a few extra clips for your viewing pleasure throughout the video. (Hint: They have nothing to do with Parker!)  Enjoy!

Happy Fourth of July!

The weekend started out with a Nelson Family trip to the River Cats game!  It was a close game with a lot of runs, but in the end we lost by one.  There were fireworks afterward though!

The next day was the Fourth, and it started out with a wonderful tantrum from Parker.

Next, we went to the river where Greg's brother, Jeff, and Jeff's girlfriend, Rachael, acted as Mother Goose to a lot of geese!
Greg, Parker, and Great Grandma Nelson
Parker had a blast!  As soon as we set him down, he went running for the water.  He really didn't know what to think of our little boat ride though.

That night, we lit off a bunch of fireworks and had root beer floats at the Williams' house, but unfortunately, my camera doesn't work well in the dark so most of the pictures were blurry.  We did get a picture of Parker enjoying his first sparkler though!
The next day we went miniature golfing with Grandma and Grandpa Stauffer, but we forgot to take pictures!  All in all, we had a wonderful weekend!  Thank you Nelsons, Stauffers, and Williams!!!!

Parker at the Park

Parker has only been to the park a couple of times, but this is the first time we brought a camera and the first time he's been able to walk.  He enjoyed the swings, but it took him awhile to be able to walk around in the bark.  He eventually gave up, sat down, and just played with the bark.
He's not sure why Daddy is on a swing.  Isn't he too big?
Having fun with Daddy

Here's all the bark pictures.  He tried to eat it a couple of times when he thought we weren't looking, but for the most part he just grabbed handfuls of it and tried to show us.
