Pray for Love

Here's a little piece of what we learned in church today:

First, I give counsel to husbands and wives. Pray for the love which allows you to see the good in your companion. Pray for the love that makes weaknesses and mistakes seem small. Pray for the love to make your companion’s joy your own. Pray for the love to want to lessen the load and soften the sorrows of your companion.
-President Henry B. Eyring

I love this quote. I also think it is an important concept even for those who aren't your husband or wife. Pray to love others, especially those who you do not have the kindest feelings toward.

More Stauffer Sleeping Positions

This boy of mine is creating plenty of sleeping photos for me to add to the "how many random places and positions can a Stauffer sleep in" file.

I would be lying if I said I didn't try to put a goldfish cracker in his mouth. :)

To be perfectly honest, my first thought upon seeing him asleep was, "please don't pee." He's never slept in underwear yet. Ha ha!

Don't Cry over Spilled Milk

Parker spilled hot chocolate tonight. When we looked over at him, there was hot chocolate all over the table and Parker was completely quiet and motionless, covering his eyes with his hands (so sad!!!!). Poor kid thought he was going to get in trouble. We told him it was just an accident and that he just needs to be careful. He was so happy that he wasn't in trouble... he even helped us clean it up. We sure love that kid. :)

Parker's New Tent!

This morning I set up Parker's tent that he got for Christmas from his Great Grandma and Grandpa Fafara. He was so excited and has since spent loads of energy crawling through it.

Parker, I think you're a little too big for the Bumbo.

I'm Back!

Okay, I know I went longer than I usually do without blogging, but I've been in Utah! We had a blast seeing grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. It was a super busy week and a half and I'm so sad that I barely remembered to pull out my camera! It's also sad that I don't get to visit Utah as often as I'd like and I miss Grandpa and Grandma already! Here are the few pictures we managed to take from our trip.

Finished product!

Givin' Frosty a high five!

One of Parker's favorite things to do on our trip was to crawl up in bed with Grandma and Grandpa to hang out or watch TV. Devri loved it too, but I forgot to take her picture on the bed!
Grandpa is sound asleep in this picture and probably hated the camera flash going off in his face! :)

Greg's mom picked us up from the Oakland airport and we couldn't resist showing the kids where we got married, considering we could see it so close to us on the hill.

Parker started to not feel well, but he graced us with his presence in this picture anyway. :)
Memo for next trip: have just as much fun, but take more pictures of it!
