Parker Made the Newspaper!

I got a phone call from my brother, David, today telling me that Parker was in the newspaper. For those of you who don't know, David lives in Utah. Parker was in the Salt Lake Tribune! Ha ha!

The city decided to do an article on my Grandpa Stauffer and his green thumb. And believe me, he has the greenest thumb I have ever seen. Take any flower, put it under his care, and it is prettier than anywhere else you've ever seen it. Roses are his specialty. I still drive by his old house in the bay area and I get sad looking at the rose bushes because they just aren't the same without him. So, the entire time we were in Utah, Parker was glued to his hip in that garden. He absolutely loved it. So, I drove up one day to find a lady taking pictures of Grandpa in the garden. Low and behold, Parker was in the pictures too!

They had listed four pictures in the online article, but now there is only one so David was kind enough to take the above picture for me. For those of you who want to read the article, here is the link below:

P.S. I forgot to mention that they said his name was Parker STAUFFER... Awesome!

I'm a Bad Mom!

Does it make you a bad mom when you tell your son he needs to get dressed and he asks, "who's coming over?" I swear I dress my kid! In my defense, he has spent a lot of days in a shirt and underwear due to potty training. However, he is potty trained now so hopefully he will no longer think he only needs to be dressed when people are coming over!

And on another note, I stole some pictures from my mom's facebook from our recent trip to Utah. Enjoy!

As you can tell, Parker is a little scared. So funny!

Our Trip So Far

Devri's been enjoying all the attention she is getting in Utah, although she seemed wary at first of everyone.

Tristan came to visit and I just had to post this ridiculous picture. I love Devri's face!

Parker calls these his "Rocky" gloves. He knows how to use them correctly, just not in this picture!
Parker's favorite thing to do is work in the yard with Grandpa. He would spend all day out there if Grandpa would let him, which he does!

Lauren Larson also came to visit us from Provo. It was fun to see her, especially to watch her obliterate Brandon in Wii Bowling.

Easter Celebration with Greg's Family

We went to a Easter party that Rick and Sandi's ward had last Saturday. It was a lot of fun, especially watching Parker hunt for eggs and play with real bunnies and chicks.

Uh oh... here comes the Easter bunny! Will Parker be afraid again this year?

Yes!

Devri, however, loved the Easter bunny. :)
