The Whims of a Boy Who is Two--Almost Three!

As you can see below, this goofy-grinned boy is having breakfast. His latest fav had been cereal with NO milk! Every time I would pour his cereal he would be sure to remind me, "No milk, mommy." I know Parker, no milk, thanks for the reminder! Well, we have finally returned to cereal with milk again. Being my sneaky self, I started giving him milk in a cup with his cereal (like the pic below) and a few days later he started pouring it on again. Now he lets me pour the milk straight into the bowl. Oh what will he decide to change next?
P.S. Teaching Parker to share with Devri is a constant, yet funny battle. He feels a constant need to take toys away from her. We have been practicing sharing by letting Parker pick out a toy for her play with. One day, Parker and I were playing with Jumbo Legos and we were going to build a tower. I told Parker that he had to let Devri play with one of the legos and that he could pick which one... most of the legos are bright colors of red, blue, yellow, and green... leave it to Parker, he found the smallest lego in the dullest color (gray) and that was what he gave to Devri. He's going to be in trouble when she's old enough to fight for toys. :)

As I read this I am eating cereal...with no milk, and a cup of milk next to it. It's how I've always liked it, so I can relate to Parker! :)

So funny! ANd the sharing battle may never end...Jaxon is 5 and still has trouble with that basic etiquette...

Every time I read your blog I think you are writing about us. Our boys are so alike and it seems like our kids are in similar stages of life. What a funny time we have as well. What personality your little guy has.

You are doing good at teaching him to share early on! I will have to learn from your good habits!

So, are you all moved into the new house yet?

LOL...I'm still having an issue with sharing. Audree does the exact same thing and now that Kiley is big enough to take and run they are always fighting. It's great fun. LOL
Audree is in a stage of no milk too...it's because Kiley likes cereal with no milk so Audree want it that way too. Oh well....at least they drink it in the bottle. :)
