So, we've been home for a few days now, but as expected, we've been really busy! Devri, who was sleeping great at night in the hospital, decided to become our little nocturnal one and so we haven't slept too much. Parker absolutely LOVES Devri and we haven't had any problems with jealousy... yet. :) The first morning after we came home, Parker woke up, walked out of his room and said, "Devri go?" He wanted to know where Devri went and he was quite happy to discover that she was still here in our home. He gives her kisses and pats on the arm (we're trying to get him to stop touching her head) and he is constantly standing next to me on the couch with his arm around me, smiling down at Devri like the proud brother that he is. For the most part, he understands that I am a little disabled at the moment and he is gentle with me too. What a cutie! So, I will try to give more updates as things progress, but I'm running out of time to finish this post!

How cute...I'm glad that you guys all made it back home safely. I'm so happy that Parker loves his little sister! It's always a blessing when they don't get jealous. :)

Great work you guys! She is beautiful and looks more alert than a typical baby her age -- she must have been eager to see the world! Good luck with the nocturnal business -- I've all but forgotten what it was like...Can't wait to see the next post :)
