Parker has a new habit... let's see what causes it.
Me: Parker, let's go change your diaper.
Parker: No
Me: Yes, we need to change your diaper and then we can have some breakfast.
Parker: No
Me: We need to change your diaper

Once he's decided that arguing with me isn't going to work, he simply closes his eyes to block me out! I think he thinks that he disappears when he closes his eyes so he doesn't have to deal with me and something he doesn't want to do... and this isn't just about diaper changes. He does this for absolutely everything that he doesn't want to do! Now that I've figured him out, I laugh my head off every time he does it and then make him get a diaper change anyway (or whatever else the problem is). Here's another picture below for your viewing pleasure.
With Parker, there is never a dull moment!

I wish I could do that when I don't want to do something. For some reason, I don't think it would be as cute if I did it.

yes, he has Stauffer blood in him. He is getting smarter every day. Is was so great getting to see the boys and you -- just not long enough. We will have to make another trip.

That is so funny! I wish that I could do that, we would like you to speak in sacrament meeting, and I could just close my eyes... to bad that doesn't work buddy.
