Parker had his 15-month check-up about a week late. I didn't think he would need any shots for this appointment, but as it turns out, he didn't get all of his 12-month shots so he had to get two shots today. Poor guy. He just stuck out his bottom lip, looked at me, and started crying (not too loud, thankfully). It's the saddest look! It was like he was almost saying, "Mommy, why are you letting them hurt me?" Awww! Anyway, it was over before he knew it and once he was able to cuddle up next to me, he was fine. Alright, now on to Parker's stats:
Weight: 27.4 pounds (I thought it was 26.4 on the scale, but this is what she printed for me so who knows!) That puts him in the 83rd percentile.
Height: 33 inches (92nd percentile) When the doctor saw this the conversation went as follows:
Doctor: (Looking at me with the expression that Parker is definitely not tall because of me) So, is your husband tall?
Me: Umm... not really... umm, well he's under 6 feet. I'd say 5'10 or 5'11, I think.
Doctor: (Has a look on his face that says Parker's height is not because of how tall Greg is) Well, he's getting tall genes from SOMEWHERE in the family!
It was pretty funny. So, at least for now, Parker is tall for his age. And last, but certainly not least... Parker's Head Circumference.
Drumroll please...

19.8 inches, which puts him in the 99th percentile!!!!!! Parker, you officially have one of the largest heads for kids your age.
Oh yes, you are a Stauffer. Was there ever any doubt? :)

It's like an orange on a toothpick!
I saw you left a comment on Brooke's blog so I decided to check yours out! Cool, it's nice to know your kid won't get beat up by the school bully! Or maybe....he will be the bully?!
Just kidding,
Audrey
so I have definitely been in a blogging slump and I think I am back for the moment! I have missed quite a bit from you. Parker and Preston's little boy look SO MUCH ALIKE its crazy! I love the pics from the beach. Looks like you guys had a nice getaway.
Oh my! I brought Garett to the Doctors and he weighed 27 lbs. He is over 2 years old! He's never been in the 80th or 90th percentile for anything. I'm thinking that might change though!
Kudos to your big headed son. Perhaps that means that is brain is super huge so he will be some kind of genius and cure cancer or something! Wowza, just imagine the possibilities!
That is so funny! I can't believe how big Parker is getting. Our kids just keep growing huh? It makes me a little sad. I think I need to take Audree in sometime and i'll know her stats. I'm excited to find out how big she is...or isn't. :)
ORANGE ON A TOOTHPICK???!!!

Well he gets his noggin from me and since my intelligence knows no boundries..
The most brilliant minds of all time have had big heads.
You can't have a small head and be smart. You can think your smart but your not. Why? Because I said so.
